Mini Hoffman - Founder and Designer
Mini is originally from New York and, focusing on business academically, discovered her true passion to be interior design. Mini loved renovating her many fixer-upper homes over the years, doing everything from demolition and designing the new plans, to construction, painting and putting all the finishing touches in her homes. In 1997, Mini started a successful design business in Upstate New York called One Room at a Time – Interior Design. After relocating to the upstate of South Carolina, she launched her current company, Design du Jour, Inc.
Mini is creative and resourceful and has a flair for making a space look great. She is not your typical designer. She loves giving old
furniture new life. Whether it’s a piece you own, or something she finds for you, Mini loves transforming furniture and enjoys mixing old and new pieces together in her designs. From helping you pick paint colors and fabrics, to fully making over your space, she can help you achieve the look you want. She loves challenges and is not afraid to roll up her sleeves and get to work! Good design doesn’t have to cost a lot or be overwhelming. Mini’s mission is to provide her clients with a design concept that reflects their personality and meets their needs with taste and function, while keeping their budget in mind. Design du Jour means “design of the day.” Mini implements innovative and current trends to create a timeless look.
Mini currently lives in Duncan, South Carolina with her husband. She is the mother of three, and grandmother of five. When not busy designing, Mini enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
When I meet with you, I like to sit down and listen to your vision for the space. This allows me to create a design that is specific to your needs, using creative ideas that don’t need to cost a lot. I believe your home should be welcoming and represent who you are.
